About Troop 184
A Little History...
Troop 184 was founded in 1953 in River Edge, New Jersey. For 70 years, the troop has played a role in shaping hundreds of young men.
We are a boy-run troop following the patrol method of scouting. The scouts decide the trips and activities each year.
Our Scoutmaster and our team of Assistant Scoutmasters guide the boys, oversee the trips, and teach leadership skills.
Troop 184 has honored 135 scouts with the rank of Eagle. In June, 2023, we awarded eight young men with Scouting’s highest rank.
