The Quartermaster department is in charge of the management, distribution, and maintenance of troop equipment. The QM team must account for all of the equipment and consumables (paper towels, soap, etc.) that are used whenever we go camping. The QM team does a great job at taking care of the equipment so that it lasts a long time. The QMs are also responsible for training the scouts in the proper care and cleaning of the equipment following a campout. Through maintenance and training, we as a troop can continue to use the equipment for years to come.
