I joined Boy Scout Troop 184 because I had a great time on my Webelos visit with my friends and the other scouts helped me feel welcome. My brother Drew was already in the troop so I wanted to check it out. When I did I had a great time and afterwards I really wanted to join.

I joined troop 184 because of the people there. I really enjoyed hanging out with the people I met when I first joined. I also liked the fact that this is a boy run troop, so we do most things ourselves. It helps us grow up and develop useful skills that will help us later in life. It helped me grow up and taught me and my friends how to do things without lots of adult help. It made it feel very hands on and made me feel like I was contributing, and I really enjoyed being able to do things fun things like making a meal and cooking without adult help.

I joined Troop 184 because my friends did, and I have never looked back since then. The focus on advancement helped push me to get Eagle, and I owe my success to all the people around me. In addition, 184 has given me some of my best friends, all sorts of wonderful memories, and enough stories to last me a lifetime. I am forever grateful for Troop 184, and joining the troop may have been the best decision of my life.

I mainly joined Troop 184 because I was already familiar with some of the older scouts in the troop. Additionally, most of my friends had decided to join the troop and I thought it would be a more comfortable environment if we all stuck together. Throughout my six years of being in the troop, I have met so many amazing people and created memories that I’ll never forget.

I joined Troop 184 because I felt like it offered so much to me, such as making and staying close to friends, learning important life skills like cooking and leadership, and the Troops' overall positive and supportive environment.

I joined Troop 184 because my older brother joined two years prior to me, he used to come home all the time and tell us stories about how crazy kids on the campouts were. He also told us about all the cool food he got to cook and all the snacks he ate. That really appealed to me.

I joined Troop 184 because of the mix of fun and advancement. The troop pushes its scouts to advance but also gives the time to have fun, joke around and make memories. I have so many good stories and have learned a lot since joining.

As a senior Webelo, I was ready to take scouting to another level. When I visited Troop 184 I immediately knew this was the troop for me. I was made to feel welcomed and had a lot of fun and wanted a positive meaningful experience. Outdoor camping, summer camp, hiking, canoeing, and rock climbing what else could a kid want? Boy Scouts has taught me many life lessons, from our adult leaders and the Leadership Corps throughout the years they have given me knowledge that will serve me throughout my life. I’ve learned what respect is, teamwork, and how to problem solve.
Leadership is a very important factor in our troop. Troop 184 taught me that a good leader provides structure and guidance in an environment of respect and camaraderie. A scout has the environment to grow and make mistakes. That’s the best way to learn.
Another important part of Troop 184 is a great sense of community. Community means many different things, such as recognizing the needs of others and taking action. It also means togetherness and friendships.
Life long friendships are made at scouts, I definitely have made my lifelong friends here.

I joined Troop 184 because my friend had joined before me and I was pushed to join as well, but I soon realized that it was a good choice to go through with. I have learned lots since then and have made lots of memories as well.

I initially chose Troop 184 because of my friend Sebastian, and quickly realized it was a great choice. I went to the first meeting and it was very fun, which is also why I stayed.

I joined Troop 184 because a few of my friends did and I wanted to continue from Cub Scouts. The Troop has given me a ton of memories lifelong friends, and a lot of knowledge.

I joined Troop 184 not having completed my Arrow of Light as a Webelos, looking forward to finding something new in the Troop. I definitely found what I was looking for: a close-knit group of friends, lots of great life experiences, and tons of fun!

I joined Boy Scout Troop 184 because I already had an interest in being outdoors and learning important skills. I chose Troop 184 because I saw how seriously they took advancement and the leadership both then and now is excellent. Now in my fifth year of being in this troop I have grown to look up to the older scouts as positive role models.

I joined Troop 184 because I realized how fun scouting would be in the future and making new friends. I realized that scouting has taught me a lot of valuable life and skill lessons that I can use during the future. If I wasn't in scouting for these 4 years, I wouldn't have been able to meet all of the cool and nice people along the way. The leadership is also very strong and I feel like they are there to help me whenever I need it.
